Photovoltaic system updated to August 2024.

Fondmetal, in addition to meeting various quality standards, certified by the most renowned bodies in the industry, is also environmentally conscious.

In August 2024, Fondmetal’s photovoltaic system, installed in December 2010, was upgraded. Thanks to this upgrade, the total capacity has increased to 1800 kWp.

This plant represents a significant step toward energy self-sufficiency and environmental sustainability.

Zero discharge: optimization of water resources and zero pollution.

Fondmetal has equipped itself with a zero-discharge system for the total recovery of wastewater in the air-tightness control and painting processes, which has allowed totalzero discharge as well as significant savings in water consumption.

Raw materials and the environment.

Fondmetal in its production processes favors raw materials with low environmental impact.

The aluminum used for casting processes has a low carbon footprint, down to a minimum of: 1.1kgCO2e/kg

The paints used for color are water-based and do not use solvents ensuring a low level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful to the environment.
