The design, created by <span class=\"s1\"><b>Antonio Tomaini<\/b><\/span> with contributions from Ignazio Lunetta, retains the <span class=\"s1\"><b>Ford Cosworth DFR V8<\/b><\/span> tuned by Brian Hart, while the carbon-fiber monocoque and clean lines remain essentially the same as those used in the past.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The most significant changes compared to the FA1M-89 involve the wheelbase\u2014which has been lengthened by about 10 mm\u2014and the repositioning of the suspension\/shock absorber assembly, which has been moved back to the <span class=\"s1\"><b>front of the car<\/b><\/span>, rather than under the cockpit as in the previous version. New air intakes have also been added to the bodywork to improve cooling and aerodynamic flow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the helm is <span class=\"s1\"><b>Olivier Grouillard<\/b><\/span>, the only driver on the roster for the season.
