{"id":11062,"date":"2025-09-16T16:56:16","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T14:56:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondmetal.com\/auto-f1\/minardi-m-197\/"},"modified":"2025-09-16T16:56:16","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T14:56:16","slug":"minardi-m-197","status":"publish","type":"auto-f1","link":"https:\/\/fondmetal.com\/en\/auto-f1\/minardi-m-197\/","title":{"rendered":"Minardi M 197"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">1996 was a turning point: Fondmetal, led by Gabriele Rumi, acquired a stake in Minardi as one of its main partners, alongside Flavio Briatore and Alessandro Nannini.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span> This provided Minardi with a more stable budget and more advanced technical facilities, thanks to the industrial and development support provided by Fondmetal.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> In<\/span>particular, Fondmetal\u2019s wind tunnel in Casumaro was used for the aerodynamic development of the M197, enabling precise updates throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In 1997, Minardi began a new season with the M197, a car designed by <span class=\"s1\"><b>Gabriele Tredozi<\/b><\/span> , alongside Mauro Gennari as chief designer and Mariano Alperin in charge of aerodynamics.
