Although it is no longer an independent team, Gabriele Rumi\u2019s company provides visibility and technical support to the team, particularly in terms of branding and technical development as a full-fledged manufacturer, with the engine known as<strong>the \u201cFondmetal V10<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <span class=\"s1\"><b>engine<\/b><\/span> is a Ford-Cosworth, capable of producing approximately <span class=\"s1\"><b>770 CV at 15,800 rpm<\/b><\/span>, with a 72\u00b0 cylinder angle; although outdated compared to the engines of the top teams, it was renamed \u201cFondmetal\u201d following an agreement that also included the acquisition of part of the technical staff and development rights by Minardi\/Fondmetal. The wheel package is compatible with Bridgestone tires, mounted on magnesium rims, while the 6-speed semi-automatic transmission\u2014featuring a titanium gearbox manufactured by CRP in Modena\u2014helps reduce weight and increase torsional stiffness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">From an <span class=\"s1\"><b>aerodynamics<\/b><\/span>, the M02 introduces numerous innovations: a lower, more pointed front end, more compact sides, high-mounted exhausts, and a car underbody equipped with new appendages to optimize airflow. The cockpit also features structural innovations, including a double-U-shaped roll bar to facilitate driver access, as well as the early adoption of \u201creclined\u201d brake calipers.
